Put this together this morning:

https://rateyourmusic.com/list/thegreenflame/the_100_greatest_prog_albums_of_all_time/
Looks like the list from progarchives but with all of the non-prog entries (such as Miles Davis) taken out. Nice.

71 dB

Spatial distortion is a serious problem deteriorating headphone listening.
Crossfeeders reduce spatial distortion and make the sound more natural
and less tiresome in headphone listening.

There you have it. Proceed.  :)

Prog rock: Artists like Yes, Goblin, King Crimson and Genesis (early)
Art rock: Bowie, Bjork, Kate Bush, Residents, Peter Gabriel, stuff like that
Electronic music: Folks like Kraftwerk, Tangerine Dream...
I saw this quote on "Express" website: "How would you even begin to live up to a level of hysteria that saw 22 dates sell out in 15 minutes?"
I see Kate Bush recently played some shows and the reviews are very positive. I have a lot of good sentimental feelings about Kate Bush.

It's good to know that, even at my advanced age :P , an album can still blow me away.

The Snow Goose is okay, but I prefer Moonmadness by very large margin. For me, their masterpiece.

They are both highly acclaimed, and MIRAGE maybe even moreso.

Moonmadness gets my nod for my favorite Camel album and it's also considered their best album by many other Camel fans I know. Mirage is a good one, too. I didn't think The Snow Goose had many memorable moments and I think they only got better instrumentally. Tunes like Lunar Sea (from Moonmadness) and Ice (from I Can See Your House From Here, for me, encapsulate everything that's great about Camel instrumentally. Check these tunes out if you haven't already, Dave.

Oh, I'll check them out as these are the three albums to get first. And I don't care what you think about Snow Goose.   ;D

:D Well, The Snow Goose isn't a bad album, but I never could fully connect with it like I did many of their other albums. BTW, I just want to give special mention to Andy Latimer's excellent guitar playing. He's so underrated.

The Snow Goose is an instrumental album, as you know. I'm sure I'll like the other ones if I like/can get past the singing. The vocalist is usually where it makes or breaks it for me; fortunately prog has long instrumental passages. And yes, the musicianship is very fine.

Well, if the vocals aren't too distracting, I can tune them out. Some vocalists will grate on my nerves, so it's quite easy for me to ditch their music in favor of another band.

No edginess to his personality as all. Like, maybe an antique shop owner or something.

Aye.  I'd have a cup of tea with this chap.
