Where can I find: Chinese and Japanese melodies written in western notation?

I want to play them on the alto recorder. I have Sakura Sakura and one or two others, and I think they sound great on the recorder. I would like to find others, and can transcribe them to be playable on the alto recorder if necessary. Someone in our neighborhood plays the Chinese flute, and I would like to find some of that music and/or music for Japanese Shakuhachi if possible.

I just searched "Japanese Folk Songs" and "Chinese Folk Songs" on Amazon (books) and a number of possibilities came up.
