I wish I could take credit. The merit is due to a sunny day, an apple tree in a back yard in The Bronx and Agfachrome. I never knew how clever I had been until the I saw the slide in our Kodak Carousel projector (of Mad Men fame).

Framing, pressing the shutter, and setting the exposure count for something, too.
There's certainly many a time I notice afterwards that I've managed to capture something worthwhile.

I like both of these. I'll just single out one aspect, which is the fact that the water offers the model both room to 'breathe' and also a nice contrast for the eye to play off, back and forth.
