Thought I would move my post over to this thread, some of my last film photography, which I would love to get back into, but not many accessible photo labs nearby...

Here are a few from my last film camera, shots taken on a trip to Chicago...

A few from an iPhone, the foggy/tree shot was taken by my wife...

And finally my girl, Ruby, who has made a fine subject...

Lovely pictures, Greg! I like the b&w of Ruby in particular, and those iPhone shots are nice too.

Seeing how there won't be snow here in the next 6-8 months..

Just saw the documentary "Finding Vivian Maier".  For me, it was incredibly powerful and moving. I can't remember the last thing I saw that affected me so deeply.  I can't say why, exactly, so perhaps it is unlikely to hit others in the same way, but if you have a chance to see it, I recommend that you do so.
It's all good...

It's already on my must-see list, your post has moved it up. Thanks for the comments, Bak.

Some black and white portraits, shot with a Canon F-1 and Tri-X.

My sister-in-law, Mrs. Rock's sister:

My favorite niece, already a profound thinker at age two  8)

Mrs. Rock and her sister: a montage created with two photos taken a year apart and in vastly different lighting conditions. I used Photoshop to match the grain.

he was as f*cked-up as you are."

Amazing, Sarge! Great use of contrast, and depth of field with your niece.

A fine subject indeed, and a great doggie portrait. I don't know the circumstances, and I'm probably guilty of anthropomorphizing here, but your dog looks incredibly sad  ;D

You may be right, Sarge. She (Ruby the dog) was in the back yard while my son and I were sledding down a hill in the front, she loves the snow and wanted to join us.

That's superb, and supremely moody. Congratulate your wife.

Mrs. Rock, four portraits.

Our first shoot, 1975. I'd known her about a week at this point. Canon FTb and 50mm F1.4

A similar pose four years later in the state park near Cuyahoga Falls Ohio. Canon F-1

By the Rhine, 1981, shot with an Olympus OM-2 and a Sigma 600mm Mirror, which accounts for the donut-shaped bokeh.

In the wetlands of the "Alt Rhein" adjacent to Mrs. Rock's hometown in Germany, 1984. Shot with a then newly purchased OM-4.
