Love this. Gazing at it, it began to draw me into the landscape, almost physically. Freaky  8)

"hey, they made a movie about
Mahler, you ought to go see it.
he was as f*cked-up as you are."

Thanks, Sarge!
There are a bunch of other Norway photos uploaded, but they are all quite different to this one, I think.

Great images. I especially like the first and last (seascapes). Amazing light and clouds. The last (with the lone figure) is your Caspar David Friedrich, isn't it?  8)

Thanks again!

Guess which title it had once (hint no. 1: it was in German) 8)

Your photo reminds me of both C.D.Friedrich's Meeresufer im Mondschein and Zwei Männer am Meer. But it appears to be a sunset not a moonrise. So, Ein Mann am Meer beim Sonnenuntergang:)

Close, but no Cuban ;)
Der Mönch am Meer - although the light in that one is very different of course. But I must admit I didn't remember that he painted so many of these things  ;D

Those are fine pictures, Sarge, but I didn't notice any windows in them ;)

Yeah...I might have mislabeled those photos.

Quite a moody sky!
It could be that my interpretation heightened the moodiness slightly ;)
