However, you could get a flickr account, have 1 TB for photo storage, and share them there..

I have an account at ImageEvent, galleries that I share with friends and other groups. But linking to certain of those photos (like the English Garden image) is not allowed here.

"hey, they made a movie about
Mahler, you ought to go see it.
he was as f*cked-up as you are."

OK. Well, at least with Flickr you could link to your profile, and set the settings for each photo so that either anyone can see them, or flickr members, with a couple of levels for nudity and other content that are moderated by flickr, and users set their own levels for what they want to see. But I'm certainly not urging you to go to such lengths, no matter how short they are, just saying that if you want to share them, you can. :)

Webs are fascinating. What produced the bokeh in the second image, dew?

Fascinating, and frequently (as here) beautiful.

It's a bit funny:  I don't care for spiders in the least (though I am not genuinely arachnophobic), but I have no trouble at all appreciating the beauty of the webs.  If there's no dead fly caught in it, I mean . . . .

One may assume so, I agree.

Of course, ethics is a problem with this kind of photography - should a photographer save the fly instead or take advantage of its gruesome fate.

I fear I am compromised.  Little as I like the spider, I have no great affection for the fly, either.

I'm not a fan of either creature either, but at least the spiders create those beautiful webs and eat flies.

Here's a creature that also spins a (metaphorical) web...much more appealing but just as dangerous  ;)

Femme Fatale, original and crop

Great photo - the crop works very well - that's some look!

Apple blossoms this time, I hope Karl doesn't have a problem with them ;) (as usually, click to see larger, and against black background)

Like the blossoms

Really like the "Femme Fatale".  Terrific lines.  Rather disturbing though--due to the kind of hospital-style bed vibe.
It's all good...
