My mother and stepfather taken about 10 years ago in a deli in Greenwich Village, and my son taken the other week at Myrtle Beach. I love the pic of my stepfather, who is Norwegian and grew up in Brooklyn, it captures his sometimes no-nonsense, wiseguy personality, but I wish I had paid more attention to the light behind his head, would have taken it slightly away.

She's actually cool with the photog/model relationship I've continued with the ex.

At least in the photo your step-father looks remarkably like Neil Flynn (The Middle, Scrubs).

I really like this portrait of your mother, Greg - the stark contrrast & geometry in the composition.
