And I looked at it thinking the visual composition was perfect, and impressed me far more than the b/w photo.
Well, it's gone now <evil laughter>  ::)

Karl, aren't  you a professional clarinetist? Why do you get an office view like that? I'm jealous.

Well, I am a clarinetist;  I'm not paid to play clarinet, although I pursue both the performance of clarinet and composition at (I think I can say without immodesty) at a professional level.

The office is the scene of a non-musical day job, for which I am lastingly grateful.

Lake, forest, reflections...beautiful although a bit terrifying for me (childhood trauma revisited). Nonetheless, love them.

Cheers, George!

Thanks for the Google+ add, BTW . . . I don't actively use it, at present.  Maybe I should change that!

I use it to communicate to an overseas friend. Otherwise, I don't actively use it either.

Yes and if we should ever have downtime here again, it is one way to keep the discussion going.

Their annual migration pattern means that right now a considerable bunch of their species roam my street.  Yesterday I nearly ran over three of them when they decided to cross the road just as I drove up.  Lucky for them I was going 15 mph.

Beautiful picture though.

This photographer is featured in the new Giardino Armonico Hadyn CD.
The photos are excellent even if they seem to have no connection to the music.  Gueorgui Pinkhassov.

Love the layers and fall colors...

Here's a rather funny goose picture I got a couple of years ago.

I'm not gonna ask why you keep your son in a bucket. You grew up in Michigan, and they have odd customs here.
