Thanks. These are very much influenced by Atget's work in the 1900s-1920s

I have a book of his wonderful works on my shelf. He was an interesting character.

  I took my camera with me today, but was just too busy to actually take it out and shoot.

Excellent! I have the Szarkowski book, although it's not on the shelf at the moment ;)

Seems to be quite a lot of tyre tracks on that beach!!!

  Yeah, the city has a big truck the cruises up and down and blasts a prerecorded message warning people not to drown :(
