But... that's already been done - as if there was a composer whose music he likes that hasn't been John's avatar.

Good point!

Maybe Rachmaninov, I haven't seen this composer as John's avatar yet......but does he like Rach enough?

I like Rachmaninov pretty good. I enjoy a few works, but I couldn't claim he's a favorite.

This is true, especially big band Haydn conducted by Lenny.

I guess he didn't like my swell idea.

The day Miley Cyrus becomes my avatar will be the same day I marry Jessica Gomes. :) (hint: this never will happen!)

Enjoy my new limited edition avatar: Steve Hackett!!! I'm going to leave him up for the whole month of April. Every Genesis and progressive rock fan should know who Hackett is and if you don't then shame on you!

Which album? The first four Hackett albums are great, but he had some duds after these first four. I would say, however, that the early 90s saw a resurgence in his creative prowess.

Hi John,

I think yours should definitely be 'Shostakovich'.  Deep down in your heart, I think he is your favourite composer!   :)

If it can't be Shosty, than it should be Delius!  Or Bjork!  :D
