I used Google Chrome, but now when I click on my desktop short cut, it takes me to http://speedial.com/

How do I reset. I already deleted this in my settings, but still there.

Sounds like you've been wormed, Bill. The first thing I would try is to delete the shortcut, then type in the address you want to go, then create a new shortcut from there. If, in fact, it again gets changed to the speedial address, you will have to root it out with whatever you use (you have a Mac, do you not?) to root out crap. After that, never have unprotected surfing. Always wear a digital condom! Try this:

Thanks, Gurn.  Updated Mcafee....deleted program...deleted Google Chrome....re installed.....and Speed dial still starts off Google Chrome.  When I open another tab, it is fine.  Just that window that open initially.  Grrrr.

Nailed it.  I think.  Correct!  It was in the settings (not extensions) and had to ask it to open on the Tab Page.

You also shouldn't be using Mcafree, if you really think you need protection software I'd suggest Kaspersky.

Thanks for your help tonight and also to Ernie....saw him lurking as well. :)

Gurn, see IM.
