Spatial distortion is a serious problem deteriorating headphone listening.
Crossfeeders reduce spatial distortion and make the sound more natural
and less tiresome in headphone listening.

At first I thought you meant things like Grainger, but then I saw the dates. Have you heard Thomas Ades' "Asyla"? Highly recommended. The third movement (subtitled "Ecstasio") is based off of rave music (electronic/house/trance) that was so popular in London in the 1990s.

No, I don't think I have. I have only one Adès disc ("Living Toys"). I'll check that work out, thanks!  ;)

I would never have guessed... I've never seen you post anything about "country" music (in its broad sense).

Yeah, Sarge. I grew up listening to bluegrass music when I would stay with my grandmother. She, of course, loved the music, so a bit of that rubbed off on me at an early age. I don't listen to the music much these days, but I still enjoy it on occasion and really admire the high level of musicianship that's so synonymous with the genre.

My love for Bluegrass crystalized early too. I was five, six. A "hillbilly" couple with a cute daughter lived across the street from us. I fell in love with the daughter and the music I heard them playing pretty much simultaneously  ;D

Well, I listened to it on Spotify. I don't quite get Adès' music. That's why "Living Toys" was my first and last Adès.  ;D
