Hello,

I have been discussing with new member Scoreperfect about the following.

I will do a proposal to my local record store (retail) to sell music from composers. In digital format. They can follow composers at the "Composing and Performing" section. This can become a platform for composers to promote their work. Work is reviewed here, so they can profit from it.

Customers can just bring a memory stick or mp3player and buy the music. Al that's needed is composers to send their music in digital format and the store needs a computer in their store for customers to copy. Different selling options are possible: composers can sell rights (limited to use of the store of course), or can share in the profit. A combination might be possible as well. Composers also can sell their scores.

Maybe in this way we can also start a fund. Local stores and label can invest money on GMG.

Let me know what you think of this.

You already have one buyer: Harry (if he comes out of his department to see some light).
