Correct, and great to learn!  :) I even heard and saw Bel Canto - at that moment only Nils Johansen and Anneli Drecker were left, Geir Jensen had already turned into Biosphere - once, in my home town of Utrecht, early nineties I guess. BTW, Anneli has one of the best voices in all pop music, IMHO. Hearing here live on the same level was something special (but I dislike her solo career, only as long as Nils Johansen wrote the music they were doing fine.) And I heard David Sylvian even three times live: in Rotterdam, Amsterdam and Utrecht, IIRC. You may never have heard of Twice A Man, but they're your neighbours, from Göteborg, and still active there.

Pop music, I think, is for the most part a generation thing. Most pop musicians that I  like are of my own age, or a bit younger (but hardly ever older). That's to say: I missed the 1960s and 1970s completely and only joined in in the 1980s and 1990s. Those are the bands I still enjoy.

I have another Norwegian favorite: Briskeby  8)

Maybe groups like this are more pop than rock but who cares?
Spatial distortion is a serious problem deteriorating headphone listening.
Crossfeeders reduce spatial distortion and make the sound more natural
and less tiresome in headphone listening.

With Mitch Mitchell and Noel Redding as in 'The Jimi Hendrix Experience' and also 'Band of Gypsies'.

I think Band of Gypsies was with Buddy Miles and not the same personnel as Experience.

Yes and Billy Cox on the bass. Not that I'm sure Jeffrey meant that the personnel was same in the bands, rather that he had cheated and includes both bands on his list.  8)

I beg your pardon!   :)

I am well aware, thank you very much, that the 'Jimi Hendrix Experience' and 'Band of Gypsies' we're not the same line up (although not sure if Mitch Mitchell was on the drums in both groups). However, as Jimi was definitely there I do not think that this constitutes an example of 'cheating' although I know how touchy you GMG Forum types are.  8)
