I'm looking for people who play like this

1 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X8Z5h6rzvck

this one made me think of something made by guys like Tim Berne or the Eight bold souls, but I don't have a particular track in mind. I'm not sure if they are exactly what you're looking for but check out for instance the album "Fractured fairy tales".

the sound of the trumpet reminds of Miles Davis but again I'm not sure what specific track could be a good recommendation.
I'm thinking too of Olinga, written by Dizzy Gillespie

and something like this

I can't tell any name at the moment, I can say only that it's groove made me think of funk stuff like the meters but it's not a good suggestion.

And something like this

the progression at the beginning reminds me of St. James infirmary

And now Im asking for things a bit too specific but I'l never know If I don't try

this one reminds only of a a piece called Battle in the hall, composed by David Bedford for his album Odyssey.

the beginning reminds me of Shostakovich and  the second movement of his  symphony 15

but then it goes in a completely different direction, something like this

I'm not sure if those above are good suggestions, let me know.

If by free-form you are thinking about what that really means in the jazz world,
then I'd say try out JOHN COLTRANE-Acesnsion (I & II) or The New York Contemporary Five, or some of Marion Brown's hairier ordeals.

It doesn't get any more "free form" than that - but that doesn't equate with being actually good.

"Acension," for instance, was an experiment that didn't come off.
When, a few months before his death, Rachmaninov lamented that he no longer had the "strength and fire" to compose, friends reminded him of the Symphonic Dances, so charged with fire and strength. "Yes," he admitted. "I don't know how that happened. That was probably my last flicker."

Those Baccano tracks may sound "free form" but (except for the trumpet solo) they are actually tightly composed and rehearsed.  I know from experience that players don't get that tight unless they work at it. 8)

Btw if anyone can find some Jazz like that, that'd be great. My kind of jazz seems to be horribly scarce

It was already recommended, but in case you haven't heard Coltrane's Acesnsion, I think you should check it out. The format is like Coleman's big band free improvisation but within a structured pattern. I always viewed these two albums as companion recordings.

I already have it on my list. Seriously why is free Jazz so scarce? Is it like really hard to produce or something? I just like hearing messy unorganized jazz sounds that in a way do have an organisation, a pity for me indeed!

Yeah, that's free form all right, the sort that only the greatest players are willing to risk. 8)

No need to feel pity, there are many hundreds (probably thousands) of Free Jazz recordings available.

Among my personal favourites is the great Ornette Coleman and of the modern players Ken Vandermark is excellent IMO.

BTW I just typed in Free Jazz under CDs&Vinyl on Amazon and got 17,860 results so there are a few out there, good luck and have fun.
