Well, I had to cast my votes for Jethro Tull and King Crimson;  but my third vote would have gone to Genesis, no argument.

I have not.

Sort of like Gabriel Genesis with more muscle. I guess. :)

Those first three are quite good if I remember accurately.

I voted for Genesis and Pink Floyd, but could have easily extended it to Yes and King Crimson.

Yea, this Poll ain't really there, is it? If you like one there, you're pretty much going to like most of them... no? I put them mostly on the same level. I'd have liked to hear King Crimson with Yes-styled vocals, perhaps. Pink Floyd certainly seems to be a self contained unit.

But, you're talking to the guy who just last night heard the Spooky Tooth version of 'I Am the Walrus'. Now there is no doubt in my mind who the real Spinal Tap are! ;) (oh, and it was pretty bad- like Vanilla Fudge on acid... wait?...huh?) kind of Shatner-like

For a poll like this, I almost wish there were a prog band named Banana!

Indeed I have.

AAAANNNNDDDD????

I mean, is it Spinal Tap or no? I mean, it almost puts Vanilla Fudge to shame! "My Band" has been working up 'Walrus' (as a three piece) and I was looking for any input, and ST came up- it's just so shockingly typical- it almost makes my brain cells remember what a bad trip was like I have no idea what he's talking about it was more like Joe Cocker-meets-Vanilla Fudge on Demerol.?!

Anyhow, how bout

THE BUBBLE PUPPY

??????????????????

hmm?

Spinal Tap is Spinal Tap. Spooky Tooth is Spooky Tooth. :)
