Inspired by the recent "What do you look like thread" posts and my recent move. Here is my music room (a 2nd bedroom) in my apartment. I had a last-minute stroke of luck and ended up in a 2-bedroom unit for an already-low 1-bedroom price, thanks to a mix-up that the apartment complex made last month a few days before I moved in. Totally unnecessary, but very nice to have. Note the record/CD covers. I even framed the ugly Reich Desert Music album since I found it last month in a record store by chance. I do love that piece. The stained-glass jars are my from my late grandparents' house in Maine. I asked my parents to get them when the house was being cleared out because that is one of the first memories I have of that house.

What is that glass thing right by your music stand? I think I've seen it on Breaking Bad in a cooking montage...

I'm too ashamed to display my home, given the drab, cookie-cutter tract home I live in.  That written, here's a close-up of one of the non-treated parts of my listening room.

No one is taking this thread seriously >:( >:(

Actually, I think this has become the most important thread of recent memory. Mostly because it's reigniting my urge to go on a Kubrick binge.

Is that Bose's latest speaker?     :P

It's a Martin Logan Super Monolith powered by a VTL tube amp running in pure triode mode with a front end of Oracle Delhpi Mk IV with SME V tonearm  and Koetsu Rosewood Signature cartridge and custom built phono preamp. Cardas wire throughout. It is a purely monaural system. All components except speaker itself are located under the self-illuminated floor panels and are operated robotically, controlled by my hand gestures.

The old bugger in the photo is not me, but my great uncle, from whom I've inherited this house, the audio equipment, a Ferrari Enzo, Gulfstream V, an undisclosed amount of cash, real estate and other assets, and a collection of 60,000 + LPs.

Cool room.  Is some of your audio equipment in the fireplace?
