Night Vision

The first Bond movie I seen was Live and Let Die - this remains my favourite Bond movie to this day and Roger moore is indeliably linked as Bond in my mind :)

Well, everyone has their own views on who is the 'best' James Bond, but it doesn't matter to me, because no matter how many times I watch Roger Moore or Timothy Dalton, I continue to think that the movie would be better with Sean Connery. 8) I mean he's Bond to me, although others have done a fine job with the role.

Connery.  Though I am enjoying the Craig run.

He's second. Then Dalton, Brosnan, Niven, Lazenby, all the others from the Niven movie, whoever comes after Craig, Mama Cass in pink tights, Moore.

I always thought Sean Bean would have been a better choice than Brosnan.

I chose Connery who is by far the best but I always thought that Timothy Dalton was underrated - the Miaskovsky of the James Bond actors  8)

I find Roger Moore the most entertaining. He was born to play the part. Sean Connery is very close behind. The rest are forgetable.

That said, I am done with James Bond movies. I saw them HD on TV year or two ago and that's it for me. The new movies are annoying non-stop action with shaky camera and fast editing. No thanks.

My opinion exactly. Also Dalton was better than he was given credit for.

Connery. I like Craig and Dalton was good, but Bond IS Sean Connery.

I agree 100% on QoS, but Skyfall & Casino Royale are two of the best Bond films, with anything but unnecessarily shaky cinematography or poor editing.

Connery & Craig.

You spelled Idris Elba wrong on that last option.

A thought I can't get out of my head is a remark somebody made, "The greatest James Bond to never be James Bond was Cary Grant." How amazing would 1940s Cary Grant have been as James Bond?!?! Answer: unimaginably.

he was as f*cked-up as you are."

The Connery is The Bond.
Moore was his best substitute.

I'm sure he'll make the shortlist once Craig decides to call it quits.

A pity he only made two Bond films.

Sarge

Agreed. License to Kill was a great Bond movie.

But does he want to do it?

But does he want to do it?

Why not? Stringer Bell, Nelson Mandela, James Bond... Quite a resume!
