A baroque buffs thread

I was wondering if we should have a baroque buffs thread to compliment our already wonderful classical corner founded by Gurn?  Food for thought.

Well, we already have numerous threads on the Baroque period, e.g. dedicated ones to German, French, Italian, & Spanish (not sure if there is an English one?) Baroque music, plus others on Opera, etc.  Just do a general search on 'baroque' and plenty will pop up - Dave
