But I've really come to appreciate, and love, a lot of Strauss' music. Why wouldn't I pick Strauss? You saying that my avatar certainly would not be Strauss implies that you had someone else in mind?

P. S.  It's good to see you back Sarge. I've missed you around here. :)
It's already changed.

Yeah, I think I'll leave Sibelius up there awhile. I love his music so much.

Good point, Ken.
John's constant avatar changes remind me of Stockhausen's music. Random, inconsistent and never fulfilling its promises.

Switched my avatar to Miles Davis as I'm leaving behind classical for an indefinite amount of time. Will definitely be visiting 'The Diner' a lot, though.

What about this one?

Based on MI's rate of change I seriously think he should consider to use this avatar!  >:D

Me too. I'm off to the gym. I'll be back at it when I come home!

Actually, I'll be playing classical music while I'm working out (I fancy Boulez Repons...). For that matter, I'll be playing classical music on the 15 minute drive there.

So, never mind. I guess I'm never leaving classical music...

But, if I did, it would be for jazz. 8)
Beethoven's Op. 133 -- A fugue so bad that even Beethoven himself called it "Grosse".

I think John has forfeited the right to use "permanent" and "avatar" in the same sentence.

Hmm, "indefinite"?  Why not mix the music genres on a constant basis? A bit of jazz, some prog rock, a bot of classical etc...?

Wait a minute! Chiclet made you switch to jazz?!!!!!

Good point, Moon, I could sense that Chiclet was behind this avatar debacle. John may want to look into getting a cat, I think they are fairly independent animals and wouldn't care what his avatar or musical genre choice was.

And I missed so many of your permanent avatars. How many did I miss? An incalculable number, I calculate. ;D
