Jerry Goldsmith - Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan

For the record, this was composed by James Horner.  One heck of a score though and very cool to see it on someone's list.

Thread duty (and a few new wrinkles since this question was last posed):

1. King Kong-Max Steiner
2. Emma-Rachel Portman....though I could have thrown darts at her body of work and been happy with whatever got pinned, especially Cider House Rules.
3. The Ten Commandments-Elmer Bernstein
4. The Empire Strikes Back-John Williams (this netted me the Star Wars theme as well)....though truth be told, I love his Minority Report just as much.
5. From Russia With Love-John Barry
6. Star Trek-Jerry Goldsmith

There will never be another era like the Golden Age of Hollywood.  We didn't know how to blow up buildings then so we had no choice but to tell great stories with great characters.-Ben Mankiewicz

Here are three scores that I love, but could care less if I ever saw the movie again:

American President: Marc Shaiman
Legends of the Fall: James Horner
Hook: John Williams
