I heard this piece while taking an online music appreciation course. It is 3:45 long. Now I am by no means a connoisseur but I Love love this melody. It sounds to me like a type of organ with horns.  I appreciate any help on this. I have searched and searched with no luck. I can't post the file i get an error message. If anyone knows of anyway I can share or send this short 3 minute 45 second tune please clue me in. I really want to  know who composed this beautiful music.

Do you have a link to the online course? Maybe we can go from there.

Someone here will know it. If you can download shazam it will probably recognize it too.

Ken,
Thank you for your advice. I'm  technologically behind the times a bit. I was able to use an app ( soundhound) that identified the piece. I have been searching and searching for months. The search was not all in vain as  I did find a few new compositions to add to my collection.  The piece was   Handel - Op.4 No.3 in G minor. The effect the allegro has on me is.......... intoxicating. Thanks for your tip.

No problem at all. I'm glad you found it.

The allegro occurs at 4:10 in this video:

Handel - Organ Concerto in G minor, Op. 4 No. 3, HWV 291

Hey, Friedrich: Instead of intoxication, how about curiosity?
