I'm a fan of old recordings from raiding the family 78's collection back then but somehow was deprived of this incredible vocal experience. It is some Latin language presumably; Galvany was Spanish herself.
And she does NOT hit the high F in the "Regina della Notte" (hoping no one notices as it is all going by so fast) but compensates by trotting out more high C's than in the score AND a one minute long vocal cadenza. This REALLY made my day!!! Thanks!!!
