I think a pair of clock-hands attached to an appropriate anatomical feature would improve this cover.

More than any other artist i know of she can so wonderfully reflect that, entrails being pulled through the bum experience.

It's actually one of a pair of photographs (and CD covers)

The photographer was Richard Avedon. Presumably both photographer and photographee thought the pose was suitably artistic.  Or perhaps one cover is meant to depict pre-recording fears ("I can't believe I actually agreed to record all five sonatas!") and the other post-recording satisfaction.

BTW, each CD has the alternate photograph included with the liner notes.

I guess there are days when even Avedon' lens should have misted over. He is a favourite of mine and i remain unimpressed with the pained pose version. No doubt each of the two photos are technically perfect. Next time, just cover her in bees Richard.

A CD suitable for 2008 and later alumni, though the last two tracks should be played in the opposite order.

I guess the hair stylist was off that day.

Veit Bach-a baker who found his greatest pleasure in a little cittern which he took with him even into the mill and played while the grinding was going on. In this way he had a chance to have the rhythm drilled into him. And this was the beginning of a musical inclination in his descendants. JS Bach

I saw him with the RSNO do it live in...2008 I think.  It was great.  A lot of RSNO's flying dandruff was thought to be special snow effects.  The Haydn 101 'Clock' before it though, was complete shit and it didn't even sound rehearsed.  :(

But why is the clock pointing at 10:01? For a moment I thought it was a reference to Symphony 101, but surely 1:01 would be better.

But then, low-resolution smut would be better.
