The Diamond and Hanson works are particular favourites of mine along with the VW. Diamond's Third is his greatest I think.

Aside from Tippett, I like this list a lot. We are the only two to name the Symphony in C. (One suspects many GMGers must think the war started in 1941 ....  8) )
