So, how'd it go? Did she chew you up and spit you out?
Are you Mojo Man?
What?

UPDATE:

Well, at this point, that particular evening has been memorized,..hrrhmm,... there was one more "date",... well, I can ... wait... I'll tell you...

The guy that gave me his guitar 10 years ago... I was hangin one night and a girl came and plopped next to me, so I started flirting,... turned out she was the widow of my friend,... that was a year ago,... if you dig into 'A Failed Experiment' Thread you can probably get a scoop what was going on,... try right after halloween last year,... anyhow, I saw her the other week, andwe just hooked up,... but, here may be the most important thing- she's a drunky drunk like many girls I've dated- though not so unprredictable, but that still I think has been a part of why this isn't heating up like it should--- but, yea, she seems to still like me, but she's been having issues getting out this last week and I have to distance myself so i don't take it personal... errr....

I mean, I when someone gives out sex, one wants some mo' of it,... but that makes me sooooo eager, and that makes me call too much, etc etc, so, I have to chiill but I'm still now craving every woman I see,...I just see me chompin down on some butt cheeks, yee haw!!

oh- the 2nd time Mr. winky was a little too relaxed and things were very "eastern", mmmm, so, I think since mr. winky has been rejected so much he's a bit scurred at the prospects of...

oy- you know, thatr's just TMI for me, ack.....

yea, she's not my "girlfriend" yet........ but, I doooo need a non-drunk frankly.....

little red haired girl crossed off list.... waaah.....

the older rocker lady widow who's somewhat musical just wants to chum out, but I don't know how much i can hang with her if nothing's going on- she has a greeeat rack that makes being "just friends" more than merely difficult- and, I have told her how I felt....

bottom line = I'm still in torment, but, yes, I did get my first pie in years, but nothing panning out yet, but,.... and but,... and but......

Actually, nothing happened. :( On the bright side, I met someone else today and we've already been texting and talking on the phone. We're going to go out on Monday. She's Vietnamese to boot. :)

Wait, John. On this thread she's Vietnamese. On another thread she's Hispanic? Let's hope your two girlfriends are not GMG members and find out about each other.

Ha! :P Well, as much as I think I could juggle dating two women, it's just too exhausting to think about in actuality. The real story is nothing materialized between myself and the Hispanic woman whereas I met this Vietnamese woman yesterday and we hit it off pretty well I think. We've been texting each other and last night we talked for about an hour. We're supposed to go out Monday. I'm not getting my hopes up, though, but I do hope she and I can have a good time together with no awkwardness and uneasy silence.

Just started using Tinder since I finally got a phone that uses Android.

So far I got a few cute girls that like my picture. You can only do so many "likes" every day, though (probably a good thing).

Two major problems, though: 1. don't remember what I set my radius to, and 2. I suck at talking to new people.  :P There's literally no information in this app about a person besides their picture and age (probably also a good thing, though). So kinda forces me to be direct, I guess... so maybe these are actually good things instead of problems?

Not true - you can write up a profile and view others' profiles

Let me know how it goes for you, Greg. I'm curious to know whether Tinder works or not.

Currently messaging a girl that is super cute... I did set my radius too far, though. 50 miles... and the cute ones live so far away. Setting it down to 30... if I did 10-20 I'd probably hardly get anything.

This girl looks like the girl I used to like 4 or 5 years ago, but she's even cuter. I think this app has its benefits for me personally, already... just knowing that there are a fair enough cute girls out there that like a picture of me definitely helps make me feel better.

The future would be blindingly bright for me, though, if I actually could pick up a girl. There's a good chance I'll be working full-time on the UCF campus next year. All I would have to do is talk to a girl while on my lunch break. But Tinder would be a good thing to use since I suck at that. It's a completely different world over there. Just old people where I live, sooo many young people over there.

Just play some Delius to pacify them.  ;)

My friend and colleague uses Tinder with varying degrees of success. He's mostly found it useful for hookups/one night stands, but even then it depends on which part of the country he's currently in. When he visited us a while ago my girlfriend was watching him use it and often berated him for being too fussy in his choices. Also, the two of them were enjoying playing 'Spot the bot'.
"You overestimate my power of attraction," he told her. "No, I don't," she replied sharply, "and neither do you".

So in the town/city you currently live in there are absolutely no women from the ages 21-26 that are attractive and single? What is the population in the town/city you live in?

Yes, I can imagine working on the campus of a college would quite nice indeed. Obviously, plenty of women and, who knows, maybe even some Japanese ones. ;)
