Karl Henning

I'm still old school, and sporadically making my way through the second season of both Batman & Star Trek.

Finished MindHunter on Netflix which was very good.
Now watching Stranger Things 2 on Netflix.
Sticking with The Walking Dead because I've survived this far...

Cheers, laddie!

Just finished season 3 of Rick and Morty. Curious final episode, obviously some kind of prelude to yet another few episodes of development for the Smith-Sanchez family...........................

We're almost finished with this, my wife (who is Vietnamese) and I. Phew. We're on #8 (out of 10). Nothing I can say really does this justice. I guess the best I can do is say that it's worthwhile to look at this. Really worth the steep time-commitment.

I'm watching the Neflix series The OA, which if you've seen Another Earth you'll expect to be somewhat unusual and hard to categorize. It comes from producer/writer/actor Brit Marling.

Really looking forward to seeing that one. I watched this just the other day:

and thought it superb.

also watched recently:

rewatching season one of Boss made me admire it even more, and juxtaposing it with HoC highlighted what a far superior show it is in dealing with quite similar characters and scenarios, but appearing far more realistic and much better scripted.

Yes that was really good.

I have never seen a tv series so far (I know I am a bit late ;D), so I decided to start with The Sopranos and I'm watching the first season.
It seems really well done.

Starting Stranger Things S1 episode 1, not sure what to make of it so far.

I'm sort of getting Speilberg vibes, which isn't a good thing for me.......

I prefer more adult shows too, so  :-\ But I'll reluctantly sit through a few more episodes and see if it pans out better or not....

I'm rewatching Frasier and Just Shoot Me. Great sitcoms. I get so tired of all the drama shows that are on TV nowadays and how people have seem to lost their ability to laugh.

Indeed. I feel some people might not like it even though it's such a great work of art. There is nothing like Twin Peaks.

I just rewatched the original season 1 pilot after a long break after both s3e18 and not seeing any Lynch films in a while either......and damn.....I'm feeling drawn back in again to relive it all  :D

It seems that not everybody shares our love of Frasier here, Karlo. :( That's okay. At least WE know it's good. ;)

SonicMan46

Well, a couple of series that Susan & I enjoy together:

Hawaii Five-O - just started Season 6 - love the varied characters and wife always wants a DB ('dead body') early in an episode -  ???

Longmire - Season 6 just started today on Netflix so we watched the first 2 episodes tonight - this is sadly for us the last season for the series - we've become rather attached to a number of the characters - for me the same feeling when Justified ended - loved that one!  Dave :)
