I'm aware that the Ivan music and War and Peace suite were compiled and arranged by others but these are still my favourites.

Nice pick, Brian. I'm very much attracted more to Prokofiev's orchestral works, but if I had to choose one chamber work it would be Quartet No. 2. I think the Adagio from this piece is some of the best music Prokofiev composed.

No surprise to me.  If I had had to include a concerto (and I hated to omit any), under duress I should have to choose the g minor violin concerto.
