This one has been a favourite for years ... Ervin never fails to deliver, and this is among his two or three best!

Arrived today ... the 20 minute session reel documenting how they arrive at their take of "Freedom Jazz Dance" is a pretty amazing document, for starters! Let's see if there's more intriguing stuff like that. Surely not a set anyone will play regularly, but I like the "fly on the wall" experience.

Great one.  I was looking over my Sonny CDs and thinking I might do a Rollins marathon soon.  Love his Blue Note sides, especially the pianoless trio stuff like Live at the Vanguard with Wilbur Ware on bass..

Sounds like you got a lot more than me. I just got a delivery today of two used gold Sonny DCC CDs. The only other one I have is the Gold DCC for Contemporary leaders.
