I love his music outside MJQ.

The MJQ had undeniably great musicianship, but I find it hard to listen to them for long periods. The sustained mellow timbres trigger my ADHD before long.

On Saturday night I watched the live broadcast of Good Night, and Good Luck on Broadway. Among the production's many high points were sequences with jazz singer Georgia Heers, new to me. Here she is with some great collaborators in "The Nearness of You."
