The sax battle between the two Sonnys on "The Eternal Triangle" is quite possibly the most exciting I've heard anywhere:

I agree, Joshua Redman's new album is lovely. I've been following his music since the very start of his recording career, and to be honest, my initial interest came largely from the fact that he's the son of a great father. My favourite album by Keith Jarrett's American Quartet with Dewey Redman:

"A truly beautiful aural snapshot of a wonderful musical performance. A real 'you're there' moment."

Dianne Reeves and the Frankfurt Radio Big Band (recorded August 2024). Love Reeves, and she sounds great with this large ensemble.

Hermanos Gutiérrez: Live at Montreux Jazz Festival 2025. Never heard these guys, who are terrific, and performing right now at Montreux.

Oh, they just did a music video recorded about two miles from my house with Leon Bridges! I'll give it a listen.
