Spotted Horses

News has come that Sinéad O'Connor was found dead in her London home. She was a brilliant singer and a provocative political activist. Her most widely known political statement was to rip up a photograph of Pope John-Paul II on live television, at the end of a musical performance on the American television program SNL. She lived a difficult and untidy life. I mourn her passing, whatever the cause.
There are simply two kinds of music, good music and the other kind. - Duke Ellington

Amen! May God rest her in peace.
"What I dream of is an art of balance, of purity and serenity, devoid of troubling or depressing subject-matter, a soothing, calming influence on the mind, something like a good armchair which provides relaxation from physical fatigue."  - Henri Matisse
