There's this real friendly cat on my street. Everybody loves it. It makes a half meow and flops on the sidewalk for you to pet it. Then it gets up and follows you down the street and flops down again. Looking out the window I see people leave their houses to play with it.

This cat is white with black spots, like a Holstein, and I and The One Who Stole My Recliner To Read Her Spy Novels call it the cow cat.

Judging from the title, I thought this was a thread about yoga.

We used to have a super friendly cat on our street too. Sweetest cat in the world--it would always look at you with sad eyes whenever you had to stop petting it, walk away, and get on with your business. (Unfortunately at that time, my business entailed working for worthless, disgusting, backstabbing pieces of s**t--but I digress.) Its name was "Killa".

One of my neighbours had a cat who would wait for him on the street corner when he drove back from work and hop in the car for the last part of the journey. One of our own former cats would always follow me along a low wall when I walked to the shop at the end of the road. Wait for me. Then have a lift back on my shoulder.

It looks pretty much like this.  What's special is its trusting and affectionate response to people. Minutes ago I watched a toddler running after it. It did the wall walk, then the flop. This cat is OK by me I reckon.

That's so cute! Reminds me of a very affectionate and playful tortoise shell cat I know who does a similar thing. :3

I haven't been there in forever, but at the marina where my dad keeps his boat there was this dog "Molly" -- a great, big, playful labradoodle. Everyone loved her. She would go around carrying a rubber toy in her mouth and just drop it in front of random people trying to get to their boat. Most people would throw it a few times. If you ignored her, she'd throw it herself (by swinging her head and letting go of the toy), run after it, and then bring it back to you (as if she was showing people what to do with it). It was hilarious.

One time I accidentally threw it in to a huge bush. She kept jumping on top of the bush, but each time the springy-ness of the branches would throw her back in front. She finally figured out that she had to go under to get it.
