My favorite in this regard is the difference between what "exist" means to a theologian and to a biologist.

A biologist would say that God does not exist, and in biological terms that is true.

A theologian would say that only God exists, and in theological terms that is true.

Not at all.  The experience is in fact shared--they hear the same notes, tones, etc.--but viewpoints differ, and perceptions differ, just as a theologian's view of the word "saved" is very different from a computer programmer's.

Hmm I'm not sure I would restrict "experience" to the sensory input and exclude the response.
