"Courage is going from failure to failure without losing enthusiasm" (Churchill).

No. It does not seem to be a whitewash but it's early days yet. The headline points - at least in The Guardian - do seem damning for Blair and his government.

I'll revisit this when the press has managed to give the report a full read.

Thanks for your response anyway Keith. I also hope that the Intelligence chiefs are held to account for the 'sexed-up' dossier they compiled on Iraq's supposed WMDs.

I've not read it  (is that even possible?), but Blair is taking some heat. Whether this is deserved or not is secondary to me whilst the real war criminals go scot free on this side of the Atlantic. No surprises there then .......

Have fun ::)

As far as I'm aware the Israeli government, whose policies towards the Palestinians and negative attitude towards the only viable hope of peace - namely the two state solution, I totally disagree with - are not threatening any other countries with their nuclear weapons. They are surrounded by enemies, many of whom would like to annihilate them. The reference to Jewish historians etc on the Chilcot Committee I regard as a dispiriting example of anti-Semitism. Chilcot, as far as I'm aware is not Jewish - what a pointless article.
