Do you think these items will start any conversations about music?

Time is an illusion. There is always plenty of time for what you love.

Time is real. And the more recent a piece, the less likely it will seem like a masterpiece.

So here's an attempt to do a poll other than a five (or ten) favorite things thing, nice though those may be.

I personally think they're pernicious, but then I personally think all sorts of things.

So, about these options, I'd love to start already myself, but I also think I should stay out of it for awhile.

My answer to the question in the poll is that I find the second option to be a some guy-esque response to the third option.

The fifth option seems a little silly to me!

I will vote 1, 3 and 4

But number 2 is my own approach to my passion for music ;D

Option five is my take on the issue of "greatness."

Taking greatness as extrinsic, as an accumulation of "yes" votes over the years, anyone who listens to only great pieces is letting others listen for her. Or him.

Which seems very silly to me.

Otherwise, agreed. Option 2 is my tipple of choice as well.
