(poco) Sforzando

Somewhere there's a plastic surgeon getting excited.

Question to Radio Yerevan:
Is it true that comrade Sergei Vasilievich Rachmaninov is correctly described as "Russian Vivaldi" because he wrote the same violin concerto 400 times?

Answer:
Yes, but he wrote concerti for piano, not violin, he wrote 4, not 400 and they are fairly different from each other...

View Poll Results: Do You Like Chinese Food?

(Mod)We deleted your post in the "Do You Like Chinese Food?" thread. You wrote:

(First Poster) - I have never eaten Chinese food. I have eaten Indian Chinese food, which is a different
entity altogether.

(My Post) ...Do you mean eating a Chinaman with an Indian on the side or eating an Indian with - you get the drift

(Mod Comment)... While you clearly were joking, we find the post offensive, and therefore, removed it.

(My response to Mod )At least I hope I was joking- isn't that taking moderating too far I have been on this site for years and the only post removals I have received in all that time have been 2 in the last week?????
interesting and it took them about 4 days to decide to remove the post ?????

Oh gosh, I was recently suspended as a heretic from a quasi-religious forum, told to contemplate my punishment for a month. Some people get "high" when they get into a position of authority. Glad to be here, not there...

Glad to have you here.

Thanks. I'll try to keep out of politics. BTW, on the other board, triggering topics seem to have been eliminated. Could be self-censorship. Hope we never end up that way.

I shan't deny that that very statement rather . . . stood out to mine eye, as well.
