Hi guy. Try to stay out of trouble for awhile, OK? I'm only good for that kind of excitement every couple years or so. Guide on mild mannered Le Monsieur Cloche.

:D

I think we're both delighted to have the company of Mahlerian on GMG.  His presence tends to civilize the atmosphere, anyway!

I did want to assert, though, that putting all rumors to the contrary aside, I am indeed a mild mannered pussycat :P

Gee, much of the crowd here looks familiar.  Surprisingly, the thing that really forced me to join up here is that I actually lost my password for the other site.  It was on a hard drive that went bust with no backups.

Broken hard drive with no backups... my ass.

Gee, what a serendipitous coincidence!  So happy you just stumbled upon this site. :) :-X  :)

Always best regards.

Unlikely as it sounds, it actually happened!  Can't say I'm happy about it either.

Yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mahlerian is a good guy.

Our orchestra performed a great transcription he did of the Schoenberg Sechs Kleine Klavierstucke.

I think there is a YouTube of the McLean Symphony performing it.  Unfortunately  it is not a very good recording.  We sounded better in the live performance.

There were many in the audience who said it was their favorite work on the program.

Cool!

Are you implying that Mahlerian may in fact be Hillary Clinton?

Surely that site's password recovery system wouldn't work? :)

However, glad to have the chance to read you again.

Mahlerian for President!

Yes.

Surely they would play Schoenberg's String Quartet No. 2 in F-sharp minor at the inauguration?   8)

Well, I could do that, but I've already been away for a while.  No reason to jump back in now.

Mahleristan?

I had fun being Mahleristani briefly;  but reckoned that with all the newbies, that lark (even a brief lark) might be unnecessarily confusing.
