Feldman v. Cage

I don't like either composer a whole lot, but I'd take Feldman, especially in his shorter, more compact works, over anything from John Cage who I admire more as a music philosopher than an actual composer.

This seems to be a common view. I disagree because Cage wrote a lot of music that's lovely even disregarding any concepts. Try for example his Number Pieces.

As for the original question, I voted for Feldman who is one of my all time favorite composers. But Cage is not far behind!
