Wrong again. It's not the insult, it's the consequent distortion and misrepresentation of other people's ideas - caused no doubt by sheer stupidity (but nevertheless). Almost like trying to talk with Trump.  8)

Rather than address the arguments, you dismiss the writer with "sheer stupidity." Change the phrase to "low intelligence" and you are adopting Trump's rhetoric. You are the one playing the bully here.

I just read that Manafort, Donald Trump's Campaign Chair, shared Trump campaign polling data with the Russian Intelligence service through a fellow named Konstantin Kilimnik. Seems like we are getting closer to the proverbial "smoking gun."

Communication can fail at either end. Sometimes the idea itself is the cause of confusion. You may want your idea to be true more than you want to have a true idea. I wouldn't want to have an idea that's "over my head", especially intentionally. Accidents do happen, though.

The distortion is intentional and malign, you mean. #thanks

Okay, this is tangentially related to the presedential cycle, but...

...another dead body has been found in a California Democratic party donor's house. The creep has a fetish for injecting drugs into african-american male prostitutes. He wasn't prosecuted the first time for lack of evidence supposedly...

It's indeed great news: the missing link in Trump's Russian conspiracy.
These secret polling data enabled the Kremlin to help Trump win the elections - in exchange for Trump helping Putin versus Ukraine:

Playing a game of Boy Who Cried Wolf convincing the networks to cut into their programming only to reiterate the familiar xenophobia and election campaigning to his base with no actual new news.

Let's see what happens next time he needs to address the nation from the oval office. (Using the "fake news" he has belittled and incited violence against.

I'll bet there were long and heated discussions this time before all the networks reluctantly agreed to chive him the air time - ultimately choosing to respect the office more than he ever has.

The United States Senate is trying to infringe upon your 1st Amendment right to boycott Israel.

Your right to not buy Israeli products and to advocate for the genocide and ethnic cleansing program of Hamas and Fatah is in no way hindered.

It's your people that have carried out--and are carrying out an "ethnic cleansing program" against Palestinians, and evidently fiercely lobbying the U.S government to abridge 1st amendment rights of U.S citizens when it comes to Israel/Palestine. Even if AIPAC gets it's way with the Senate it's unlikely to pass the House, and even if it does thank goodness for the U.S Supreme Court. State laws along these lines have already been thrown out...

In fact, it's been US law since the oil embargo days.
As for the rest, the main goal of Hamas is killing Jews (as evidenced by the fact that whenever the choice between helping Palestinians and killing Jews is offered them, they choose killing Jews) and you have no objection to that, as can be seen by many interactions you and I have had on GMG. I suggest you do everyone a favor and admit you think killing Jews because they are Jews is a good idea.  You will at least be able to claim you are not a useful idiot on behalf of Hamas.

You can just feel the hate on this board.  Resentment, anger and hate abounds.  Unhappy people hate;  happy people do not.

It has not been the law of the United States to punish individuals who participate in political boycotts of the apartheid Zionist entity. And if it's as you say, the state versions of these laws would not keep getting ruled unconstitutional by state courts.

You don't lobby for these type of laws if you think you're right -- you lobby for them if you are aware of the loathsome and problematic nature of your pet ethno-nationalist project in the Middle East and fear increasing opprobrium.

Hamas likes to present itself as a radical militant movement devoting all of its resources to killing Jews/Israelis for the benefit of its constituents (mostly, angry young Palestinian men) but it hasn't really put that into practice since the end of the Second Intifada and there's a lot of evidence that its political leadership—especially Ismail Haniyeh & Yahya Sinwar—are much more interested in political legitimacy and a PA-style agreement that would let them rule Gaza as their personal fiefdom/money-making enterprise. They rarely attack Israeli civilians, or even Israeli soldiers who would be legitimate targets under occupation; their "resistance" consists of firing homemade fertiliser rockets at random, some of which don't even make it into Israeli territory, instead of actual military-grade mortars which they have plenty of, and then cracking down on any internal political opposition when people protest e.g. not getting paid because Abbas withheld their salaries to undercut Hamas's negotiations with Israel. Most Palestinians are sick of them & the only reason they're expected to do well in the upcoming elections is because they hate Fatah even more.
