Hello Florestan,

I think again you are justified in your view that the classical music establishment will never really want to spend time and money on works that are "pastiche" to use a horrible word, and that if a composer really wants to be accepted into that world, then DO NOT WRITE PASTICHE.  However, I, and many like me, have no real hope or desire to become professional (of course we all wish our work could be performed publicly, deep in our hearts) but at least for myself, I am content to do it because I love it and anything else is purely incidental (and highly unlikely lol),

Precisely my point! If I could compose myself, my music would sound as Romantic as it gets --- actually I keep my wishful-thinking list of compositions updated regularly --- I guess I am at about Op. 30 now and they are all programatic pieces for solo piano or violin & piano.

The flute part was next to useless and so I have given it some careful and loving attention, hopefully for the better, but I will leave that up to you.

The score has also been tidied up a bit, but the mixing is not my strong suit and the finer points of Sibelius's mixing desk tend to escape me, hopefully it won't spoil the listening too much.
