Schumann is a composer who I used to be rather indifferent towards, but recently he's become a firm favorite of mine. His chamber music, in particular, is so enchanting to me with its wide variety of characters and emotions, and wonderful sense of dialogues between the instrumental parts. I'm not as familiar with his piano and vocal music as I perhaps should be.

With, again, no disrespect to the symphonies. They are very good, but I like all four about equally, and they're a couple notches below my appreciation for these five.
