OP said "three composers", I consider these three as that. I'm sure I'll follow it up with three classical music composers  :)...

^^ Good to see another Tom Waits and Bjork fan here  8)

Absolutely! You too???  8)

Only seen Bjork in concert once, but it's up there with one of the greatest experiences ever. Never got to see Waits, not sure I ever will sadly. But for 20+ years these three have really shaped and defined my listening tastes.

I've been listening to a lot of Waits lately (I go through music in cycles). They're both such varied musicians and songwriters, both have a big place in my heart in the non-classical section.

Waits is especially perfect at being able to make you laugh your heart out, and bring you to tears.....in the same song  :o

Bjork's earlier works tend to interest me more than her later, personally but she also hasn't stayed the same place for long. Another songwriter who likes to alienate fans each release.....and I love that!  8)

I love your take on Waits! And I agree.  :)

The more I think about my choices, the more I realize how wrong I am. I'm not sure who my 'musical trifecta' is at this juncture.

This song is pretty much a prime example of that sentiment:

Haha! Well whomever made the video assisted with those great visuals. Great song though, thanks for posting.  ;D

I love watching his older live performances. Here's one I've always incredibly enjoyed, both song and performance....
