CPO lauch a couple of Germans  either late renaissance or early Baroque era , you're choice. Pfeger, is one of them, the music is a delight, needless to say, this 2012 conducted ManFred Cordes is , really well done 10 out of 10, I neglected  Germans composers long enough, now it's time to explore my early downloads and album (CD media) release, I have a tone of them by various ensemble of prestige and taste, Lambert de Sayve on Capella Flamenca introduce me to this grey era of time ''zone between renaissance and baroque'', to the Germans sounding flavor renaissance mix baroque music see... not quite one or he other, it's for the listener perception and view to decide, but officially for me officially Baroque was born whit Monteverdi Opera's(thee first) also J.s Bach is a straight marker of Baroque, his motets and vocal works would be telling.Have a nice day, and endorse the fine quality of CPO, they, do a fine Job at reasonable price.
