Watching the Twilight Zone on shuffle. Just finished Nervous Man in a Four Dollar Room (shot for under $5k)

One of the most perfect shows ever conceived (maybe one of the six grandfathers).

I didn't pick up in the book (did I?) or maybe it's a trick of the screenplay (?) ... the double meaning of "Brideshead Revisited" -- Lord Marchmain's return to England, and Charles' company being barracked there.

Well, this was thoroughly gratifying.

Having now wrapped up The Fugitive and Brideshead Revisited, I return to Mission: Impossible, not yet halfway through Season Four, just getting used to having Leonard Nimoy as part of the ensemble.

After finishing Series 1 of the BBC seriesThe Split moved straight to Series 2, with 3 to follow. In a nutshell the story revolves around  a Company of divorce lawyers who practice what they preach. The excellent Nicola Walker plays the elder of three sisters Hannah, Nina and Rose who each lead eventful, if chaotic lives. Highly entertaining, my only criticism being a element of woke of which I have a low threshold for.
You must have a very good opinion of yourself to write a symphony - John Ireland.

I opened the door people rushed through and I was left holding the knob - Bo Diddley.

Ghost Wars on Netflix.

Hm.

Supernatural story of 'things' unleashed.

Is ok. Watching with subtitles, while I listen to music.

I've only watched the first series, which I liked very much indeed, Nicola Walker was at her very best I thought, but a whole bunch of actors unknown to me impressed as well. I wanted to leave it a while before starting the next series, but am looking forward to it.

Love The King of Queens - has a near perfect ending, and when it focused solely on Doug and Carrie, it was at its best; in fact, I think adding Stiller to the show was a huge mistake - made the show too silly, in my opinion:

Nimoy's Paris pretty much assumes the role of Martin Landau's Rollin Hand. On one hand, there's no "replacing" Landau. On t'other, it's nice to see Nimoy in a regular role that isn't Spock. It feels a bit like they give Nimoy space by slightly under-powering Greg Morris (Barney) and Pete Lupus (Willy.) But only slightly, since Barney and Willy often work behind the scenes, anyway. I'm not finding these episodes any let-down at all.

We've enjoyed The Split regular seasons a lot.

The Christmas special (the split Barcelona) felt a bit odd at first but it quickly resumed it's normal fare. They crammed a lot in 2 episodes. Not sure we'll get a 4th season. It seems nicely tied up.

At the moment, we're having a blast with Bad Sisters S2 (Fiona Shaw is a turn up for the books) and the really (REALLY!!) weird but funny Am I Being Unreasonable? , S2 as well. Apple TV and BBC respectively.

Blimey, episode 3 series 2 (The Split) ---- really hits the fan!

Had no idea that Expresso was sung by Maya, the show overall, is very charming, and an excellent continuation of the previous series. It's sole flaw, I think, was the handling of Angela, but I also understand that Angela would have introduced a "real" adult situation into a show made for kids, so I can forgive and forget that. Super fun show, especially if you liked the original series (lots of good throwbacks, I thought): Girl Meets World
