You got this one, George?

I do not. My collection is light on jazz, I have only the most popular classic albums. Though I enjoy them, they haven't prompted me to buy more. I was thinking the other day that I would like to hear A Love Supreme again soon, though.

First spin.

What do you think, George? (I've not heard it, but have only read this or that reaction to the album.)

It is odd. Almost entirely instrumentals. Only one listen from me so far, so I shouldn't say more. I can say that a second listen won't be soon.

I actually think you might like it. Sadly, it is OOP.

Let me know what you think. Keep in mind though, my opinion is definitely not shared by the majority of Floyd fans.

Understood. Actually before reading this thread, I didn't think anybody liked it except maybe Roger Waters.

I put it on hold at the library.

RIP Jim Hall.

Listening to the Hall/Metheny release at the moment: superb album!

Following that with Sonny Rollins' excellent The Bridge, which has some of my favorite Jim Hall playing.
Wise words from Que:

Never waste a good reason for a purchase....  ;)
