I am listening to controlled bleeding one of the best experimental band to come out of new York if not USA , I like these are the word of the dying (song) and there older stuff noisy phlegm bag spattered which I like so much definitely one of the heaviest album I heard in the noise/power electronic  genre, do you agree please respond if you do  don't persecute me...

please

George

Now enjoying the latest remaster of this great album. Thicker, richer, more analog sound from Bernie Grundman this time around.

Youtube channel Deep Cuts went on hiatus in 2018. Today I realized the hiatus ended long ago.  ;D

Olivers Best of 2020 so far (last summer) is this list:

Perfume Genius - Set My Heart On Fire Immediately
Mourning BLKstar - The Cycle
Charlie XCX - how i'm feeling now
Lanterns on the Lake - Spook the Herd
Fiona Apple - Fetch the Bolt Cutters
R.A.P. Ferreira - purple moonlight pages
Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith - The Mosaic of Transformation
Intronaut - Fluid Existential Inversions
Jeff Parker - Suite for Max Brown
Obongjayar - Which Way is Forward?
Riz Ahmed - The Long Goodbye
Moses Sumney - grae
Yaeji - WHAT WE DREW
Greg Fox - Contact

The only artist I know of these is Charlie XCX, whose album 'Sucker' I have, but apart from Kesha and Katy Perry I have not followed pop music much lately because it seems to have gone badly downhill after the wonderful 2011-12 period. I decided to listen to these albums on Spotify. I am listening to Perfume Genius as I write this. It's okay, but not mindblowing.

Listening to these albums on Spotify keep me busy for some time and if I am lucky I find new interesting music. I discovered Beach House thanks to Oliver's Deep Cuts channel.  :)

You should listen to some "Classical" noise M. Deprofundis, become a connoisseur of authentic composers. There's some free on archive.org -

Mauricio Kagel - Acustica

Stockhausen - Aus den sieben Tagen

Checking out more of Deep Cuts Oliver's 2020 favorites:

Fiona Apple - Fetch the Bolt Cutters
I bit too "punk", neurotic and anarchist for my taste.

R.A.P. Ferreira - Purple moonlight pages
What the hell is this? The bastard child of jazz and rap? Didn't like...

Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith - The Mosaic of Transformation
Weird music, but in a positive way. Female Steve Roach? I need to explore her more.

Listening to this while writing this:

Intronaut - Fluid Existential Inversions
Not my genre, but sounds pretty good! If you are into metal check this out! You might like this.
