Neil Young: Harvest





Whenever I play Neil Young's After The Gold Rush I invariably end up playing Harvest, and vice versa. To me, they are two albums which are inextricably linked to a specific time in my past in the way that music can do that sometimes.

Hadn't heard of Rim Banna before seeing an ad on Al Jazeera for a documentary on her life and too early death.

And this is absolutely superb. I'm going to listen to everything I can track down of hers.

The Eagles: Hotel California





This album is, undoubtedly, a Classic. It is also, for me, another one of those albums that, through association, clearly evokes a specific time and place in the past.

Hey Manabu, I gave this one a listen and I did enjoy both the rhythms and the vocals on it.
