I love Johnny Cash's late albums... particularly on some of the gospel songs, there can be something of a Old Testament prophet quality about them, aged and spare in the arrangements, but no less powerful for that.

The first few albums from this period are also excellent, with Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers as his backing band, they remind of his Sun Records rocking roots.  Truly awesome stuff :)

Cool!  I'll bet that Tom and the HBs were thrilled to be working with him!  :)

Yes, I have massively enjoyed that particular musical journey I must admit.

Finally had the opportunity to hear the third disc from the Deluxe Edition of this.

And a second listen to this justly praised collection of Dylan covers.

That third disc was certainly cost prohibitive, to say the least.

Radiohead: The Bends

An excellent album.

Indeed, and thankfully just the beginning of a great run of albums for the band.

Dream Theater
Images and Words

I keep meaning to listen to more Dream Theater. So I am.
