I'd missed hearing about this superb album of Bob Dylan covers, but Greil Marcus draws attention to it in his fascinating and typically meandering new book on Dylan.

I especially like how many songs are unlikely picks from unlikely albums, finding diamonds in the rough.

I've been listening to the same Leo Kottke instrumental guitar album for 40 years. He started guiting carpal tunnel or some such, and only made the one (before going folk/vocals). Just discovered John Fahey. Quite similar. I guess he's been around forever, but I never heard of him.

Andy Irvine & Paul Brady

Absolutely wonderful playing from these two guys along with their various accompanists. They have been mainstays of the Irish folk scene for decades. This is a valued album in my collection.
